Salisbury to Stonehenge Summer Solstice Overnight Walk

Join us on our overnight hike from Salisbury to Stonehenge and witness the beautiful and breathtaking midsummer sunrise!

To celebrate the Summer Solstice, English Country Walks is offering an overnight walk from Salisbury to Stonehenge.

We meet at 3.20pm on Friday the 20th of June under the big clock inside London Waterloo station. Explore Salisbury and its spectacular medieval cathedral. Dinner at the historic Haunch of Venison restaurant where Churchill and Eisenhower purportedly planned the Normandy D-Day landings of WWII.

We'll be watching the France-Switzerland World Cup match over a pint in a friendly Salisbury pub before setting off for an overnight hike up the valley of the River Avon to Stonehenge. We arrive in time for the magical midsummer sunrise. There's time for a quick breakfast in Salisbury before catching the train back to London.

The all-inclusive price covers return rail fare from London to Salisbury, Friday dinner and drinks (max. value £30), transfer from Stonehenge to Salisbury and Saturday breakfast.
